Unlike typical X-frame tents, J.duolite shifts the main cross-pole forward and closer to the vertical wall. The result? More headroom where you actually need it, above your upper body.

To avoid narrowing at the foot, a third rear pole ensures usable space all around. It’s an ultralight tent that feels anything but cramped.

Despite being a true 2-person 4-season tent, the J.duolite keeps weight to a minimum, just 1.12kg (2.46 lbs). Thanks to its 3-pole architecture, it offers exceptional interior space without sacrificing portability. The tent skin (770g) and poles (350g) pack separately to reduce bulk, making it a top-tier option for ultralight backpacking duos.

Minimum trail weight includes tent and poles only; slight variation (±15g) may occur depending on setup.

Every material used in the J.sololite was carefully developed to minimize weight without sacrificing durability. JakeLah created custom fabrics and components specifically for this tent and replaced heavier materials like PVC and Velcro with lighter, more efficient alternatives — resulting in a truly refined ultralight backpacking shelter.

How to setup the Tent

Waterproof Tested

It underwent rigorous shower testing at DAC as well as real-world field tests during heavy downpours, and it passed with flying colors. The outer fabric kept water out, even under extreme conditions.

📌Condensation may occur in high-humidity environments.

Wind Resistance

It has been wind-tested to hold up against gusts up to 30m/s (67 mph). That’s equivalent to Force 11 on the Beaufort Scale, known as “violent storm” level, the kind of wind that can cause widespread damage.

📌 Always secure your guy lines properly. In severe conditions, prioritize safety and relocate if necessary.

Cyberian Cord Lock

The included Cyberian Cord Lock (CL) makes opening and closing the tent’s stuff sack fast and simple, even while wearing gloves. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in real use.

When do I get the tracking number for my orders?

Most products: within 1–3 business days after you place your order.
Bigtent Direct products: usually within 2–3 business days, once the package leaves our overseas hub.
Bigtent Explore products: about one week after your order, once the shipment arrives at our Canada warehouse and is dispatched to you.

I am ordering from US, is there anything I should be aware of?

Items under $800 were once duty-free, but that exemption has ended and tariffs now apply. Bigtent has temporarily paused the Bigtent Direct service for U.S. orders until import rules stabilize.
However, you can still shop through Bigtent Explore, where we handle customs clearance for you.
Some items shipped from our Canada warehouse may incur duties charged by the carrier.
Choose products with the Bigtent Explore label for a duty-free experience.

Why isn’t free shipping applied even though I reached the free-shipping threshold?

Did your order include any Bigtent Direct (BD) products?
BD items are excluded from our free-shipping offer, since we already apply a tier-based shipping rate designed to charge you the minimum possible cost for air-direct delivery.

In addition, some products with large dimensional weight or discounted items also be excluded from the free-shipping threshold.

Aside from these cases, free shipping is applied automatically once your order qualifies.

Where is Bigtent Outdoors Ltd. located?

Our headquarters is in Canada, but the shipping dispatching location depends on the product, brand, or shipping method. Orders may ship from South Korea, Canada, or the United States.

Do I really need the shipping insurance (SavedBy Package Protection)?

We strongly recommend keeping it, as it covers any damages, loss, or theft during delivery. This is especially important for Bigtent Direct and Explore orders, since they involve international shipping.
If you choose to opt out, please note that Bigtent Outdoors will not be able to assist with shipping-related problems, as we won’t have the tools to file claims on your behalf.

How can I claim my warranty?

Bigtent Direct (BD) products follow a separate warranty policy.
Most other products, including Bigtent Explore(BE) products, are covered under our General Warranty, but please note that some exceptions may apply.
