Yes — the base G450 ships with 1 PCS in the package. This listing is for customers who want a second spare on hand, or who used theirs and need a replacement.
When would I actually use it?
Only if an air pole fails — a leak from a sharp object, a torn seam, valve damage. Gopamir directs daily use to the air poles. The spare is a contingency item kept in the kit bag.
How do I install it in the field?
Deflate the failed air pole, slide it out of the canopy sleeve, then insert this rigid pole through the same sleeve and seat it at the existing attachment points. Same path, same anchors.
What is 7001-T6 duralumin?
An aluminum-zinc alloy heat-treated to peak hardness. Industry-standard for high-load tent poles — yields and bends less than common 6061 alloy under stress.
Does it work with other Gopamir models?
No. The pole is dimensioned to the G450 frame (13 mm diameter, 1,400 mm length). The TN600 and T720+ use different pole geometries and have their own spare-pole listings.
