WHAT THIS IS
Double-wall construction. Panoramic windows. Side tarp conversion. Air-frame setup.
The T720+ Living Air Shelter is the brand-anchor of the Gopamir air-shelter lineup. Larger than the G450 tunnel, larger than the TN600 mid-size, designed and equipped as a base-camp shelter rather than a portable backpacking option.
The defining structural choice is double-wall construction. An inner wall and an outer rain fly form a layered shelter with an insulating air gap between them. This reduces condensation transfer to the interior, runs more thermally stable across temperature swings, and gives the inside of the shelter a quieter feel in wind. The tradeoff is added weight and a slightly more involved setup compared to single-wall designs.
The side wall panels detach to open the shelter up for airflow and access. To extend overhead covered space - for cooking, gear staging, or shade - pair the shelter with the separate Side Tarp accessory, sold separately.
Setup is the same single-valve air-beam inflation as the rest of the Gopamir line. Connect, lock, pump. The frame replaces traditional poles and holds rigid once pressurized.
The shelter is sold as the outer structure. An inner tent (T/C cotton ITTC) is the most common add-on for an enclosed sleeping space. TPU door swaps (large and small), tarp shells (mesh and TPU), an inner liner, replacement webbing, and a spare pole round out the accessory ecosystem - all sold separately.
THE FEATURES
Six close-ups of the build, the space, and the windows.
Inner wall and outer rain fly form a layered structure with an air gap between them. Reduces condensation transfer and runs more thermally stable than single-wall shelters.
More floor area and more peak height than the G450 or TN600. Designed for base-camp use - stand, sit, store gear along the perimeter, sleep four to five people.
Side wall panels detach to open the shelter for airflow and access. Add the separate Side Tarp accessory to extend overhead covered space for cooking or gear staging.
Mesh and TPU window panels wrap the perimeter. Visibility around 360 degrees of the shelter, with the option to swap mesh for TPU in cold weather.
Single-valve inflation system shared across the Gopamir lineup. One pump cycle replaces traditional pole assembly. The air-frame holds rigid once pressurized.
Interior gear pockets and integrated zipper slider organizers built into the inner wall. Keeps small items off the floor without extra hardware.
HOW IT LIVES
Three things that make the T720+ a base camp.
The double-wall difference
An inner wall and an outer rain fly form two layers with an insulating air gap. Condensation transfers less to the interior, the temperature holds steadier through the day, and the inside feels quieter in wind than a single-wall shelter.
Room to stand
A 4-5 person footprint with a 225 cm peak and panoramic mesh-and-TPU windows wrapping the perimeter. Stand up, store gear along the walls, and keep 360-degree visibility - swap mesh for TPU when it turns cold.
One valve, up in minutes
The air-beam frame replaces traditional poles. Connect the single valve, lock it, and pump - the included hand pump brings the structure rigid in one cycle. The same connect-and-lock system as the rest of the Gopamir line.
See it set up · The pitch, on video
The full pitch, start to finish: connect the single valve, lock it, and pump the air-beam frame rigid in one cycle with the included hand pump. No poles to thread, no sleeves to feed — the same connect-and-lock system runs across the Gopamir line.
SINGLE-WALL VS DOUBLE-WALL
The same air-frame, with one layer or two.
One layer. More condensation, bigger swings.
Inner wall + outer fly with an air gap. Drier, steadier, quieter.

Advanced details.
One-year manufacturer warranty covering material and workmanship defects, including air-frame leaks from normal use. Wear-and-tear, accidental damage, and modifications are not covered. Claims handled through BigTent (Coquitlam, BC).
Main skin: 40D high-tenacity double rip-stop nylon, silicone-coated both sides, water column >=3000 mm, 95% UV resistance. Rain fly: same base fabric, silicone/PU coated, water column >=4000 mm, 97% UV resistance. Tear strength 18 kg.
The shelter ships with a spare air-beam pole (duralumin A7001-T6) and 16 aluminum pegs. Replacement guy-line/webbing sets and accessory shells are sold separately.
What to know before buying.
The honest version.
The largest, most livable shelter in the lineup
A 4-5 person base-camp anchor - larger than the G450 tunnel and the TN600 mid-size. Double-wall build, 225 cm peak, panoramic windows, standing room with gear along the perimeter.
Not a lightweight backpacking shelter
At 21 kg it is built to be driven in and set up at a base camp, not carried far. If you want backpack portability, look at the TN600 or G450 instead.
Air-frame setup, slightly more involved
Single-valve connect-lock-pump with the included hand pump - no poles to thread. Plan a little extra time over a single-wall shelter: there are two layers to pitch and tension.
Built as a system you add to
Ships as the outer structure with the air-frame. The inner tent, TPU door swaps, tarp shells, side tarp, and inner liner are sold separately - build the kit by trip type.
Heavier, but quieter and steadier
The double-wall air gap is the tradeoff for weight: less condensation transfer, more stable temperature, and a quieter feel in wind than a single-wall shelter.
One-year manufacturer warranty
Covers material and workmanship defects, including air-frame leaks from normal use. Wear-and-tear, accidental damage, and modifications are not covered.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
The G450 is a smaller curved-tunnel design. The TN600 is the upright-wall mid-size with backpack portability. The T720+ is the largest — base-camp scale, double-wall, side-tarp conversion. Pick by trip: backpack (G450/TN600), car-camping or family base camp (T720+).
An inner wall and outer rain fly form two layers with an air gap. The gap insulates and reduces condensation transfer to the interior. Result: warmer in cold weather, less drip on cold-humid mornings, and a quieter feel inside in wind. Costs you some weight and setup time.
The side wall panels detach to open the shelter up for airflow and access. Extending them into overhead coverage uses the separate Side Tarp accessory, which is sold separately. The Mesh and TPU Tarp Shells are additional add-on layers for more aggressive weather.
This shelter includes side panels that convert to tarps. The TPU Tarp Shell (GOP-T720P-TT) is a separate add-on shell layer for more aggressive weather. Both can be used together. The TT is sold only in Dark Green.
The T720+ is the largest in the Gopamir air-shelter lineup - a 4-5 person base-camp shelter. The outer footprint is 720 x 360 cm with a 225 cm peak; the inner room runs 660 x 280 cm at 175 cm. Designed for standing room and multi-person sleeping with gear stored along the perimeter.
No. The shelter ships as the outer structure. The inner tent (GOP-T720P-ITTC, T/C cotton) is sold separately. Most owners buy it together with the shelter — gives you the enclosed sleeping space inside the larger outer shelter.
Yes. Weight-based air surcharge shows at checkout — duties and customs covered, no surprise bills later. Five days versus the standard six-week ocean lead time.
One-year manufacturer warranty. Covers material and workmanship defects, including air-frame leaks from normal use. Wear-and-tear, accidental damage, and modifications are not covered.
FROM THE CURATOR
This is the one we reach for when the trip is about the place, not the mileage. The double-wall build is the difference you feel on a cold, damp morning - less drip, steadier warmth, a quieter night. It is heavy and it is not a backpacking shelter, so be honest about how you camp. If you drive in and stay put, nothing else in the Gopamir line gives you this much room to actually live.
