Shelter GM is the MONSTER build of Minimal Works' Shelter G series — a cross-arch "muscle" TPU air frame under a full polyester roof. It pitches from a one-touch auto pump and opens into a five-person footprint that two campers can fill with chairs, a table, and a cot and still have room to move.
Built for the long stay
Per Minimal Works, the 'muscle' TPU cross-arch holds the canopy taut while a full polyester 75D roof sits over the top — rain stability and condensation control come standard.
A mesh-material sky view panel sits in the upper canopy — when the roof fly is reconfigured, the interior gets an open-sky view without losing bug protection.
Per Minimal Works, every air frame goes through factory QC inspection before shipping — meant to catch the air-leak issues that have hurt the air-shelter category.
STRUCTURE
A cross-arch "muscle" TPU air frame holds the canopy taut, and a full 75D polyester roof ships as standard, which Minimal Works notes supports rain stability and condensation control. There are no poles to thread into the body. The one-touch pump raises the whole structure in about 10 to 15 minutes, then auto-stops once it reaches pressure.
SETUP
Press the power switch to check the battery level, press again, and the auto-pump runs until it reaches the 7 to 8 psi target, then stops on its own. Per the vendor, run lower pressure in hot weather and top up in the cold. The 2,500 mAh battery charges over USB-C, and a manual hand pump is included as a backup.

Specifications
Inflation takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach 7 to 8 psi, varying with the setup environment. Per the vendor, run lower pressure in hot weather and top up in the cold to hold pressure. The one-touch pump runs until it reaches the target, then auto-stops.
The kit includes the body shell, a full roof, eight guy lines, eight 20 cm stainless steel pegs, the built-in battery air pump, a manual hand pump, three carry bags, and a Type-C charging cable. Bring your own anchors for sand or snow, since the included pegs are sized for general ground. The vestibule, inner tent, porch, and clear TPU door are sold separately.
Charge the 2,500 mAh lithium-ion battery from a 5 V USB source using the included Type-C cable. Per the vendor, keep each charge under 3.5 hours and do not exceed that limit. The battery is KC-certified and is the same pack used in the MGX-600.
Minimal Works rates the Shelter GM for up to 5 people, or 2 people with a full furniture layout of chairs, a table, and a cot. The pitched footprint is 400 by 400 by 210 cm (157.5 by 157.5 by 82.7 in). The body skin is 75D ripstop polyester with a PU coating rated to a 2,000 mm hydrostatic head.
The Shelter GM is Minimal Works' modular air-frame base — a roomy shelter that pairs with a vestibule, inner tent, porch, and clear TPU door, all sold separately. We import the Korean-market shelter directly into British Columbia, so you can build out the system without the cross-border legwork.
